A full-time equipment operator position will be opening at the O’Brien County Maintenance Shop in Hartley, Iowa. Successful candidate will operate heavy construction equipment and perform skilled tasks as directed by the county engineer, maintenance superintendent, or foreman for a wide range of year round road maintenance and construction activities. Experience and/or training in the operation of motorgrader, truck with snow removal attachments, rubber tired loader, gravel truck with gravel pup, and other related construction equipment are desired but not mandatory. Candidate must possess a valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement. Pre-employment drug testing and pre-employment physical are requirements of this position along with random drug and alcohol testing.
